Beit Hatfutsot – The Museum of the Jewish People is a vibrant, dynamic, and interactive educational and cultural institution, strengthening Jewish identity and perpetuating Jewish Peoplehood worldwide. Respecting tradition while acknowledging new aspects of Jewish life – Beit Hatfutsot is in the midst of a comprehensive, multi-year program of renewal which will culminate with the opening of the new Museum of the Jewish People in 2018. Spanning over 100,000 square feet - the new museum will be the largest of its kind in the world. Beit Hatfutsot accommodates special cultural events; new modern galleries for temporary exhibitions; a computerized study area offering the visitors a digitized databases; a fine museum gift shop, and an Aroma cafe-restaurant with a magnificent deck-balcony overlooking the Tel Aviv University campus.
