La Boca Restaurant- מסעדת לה בוקה

Just like the lively quarter in Buenos Aires for which it is named, La Boca Latin Restaurant is tucked away out of sight. Both would be easy to miss. And missing either would be a shame.
La Boca is the only South American restaurant in Jerusalem. Not Mexican – although offerings include chicken enchiladas and tortilla with red tuna ceviche. Not Argentinian – although La Boca grills a mean steak. Imagine a far more sophisticated mixture of flavors spanning the southern continent, some specially imported, all kosher l’mehadrin, adapt them to the Israeli palate - and that will be La Boca.
28-year-old chef and owner Guy Kimhi returned from his trip to South America newly armed with a suitcase full of recipes, a head full of ideas and a determination to do something special. After gaining experience at two top Israeli restaurants, he opened La Boca two years ago.
La Boca is located on the second floor of a restored Templar building, so keep a sharp eye out for the hostess, who waits at street level to escort diners up the narrow stone stairway into the warm and welcoming dining room. With its classic furnishings, upholstered chairs and subtle but sufficient lighting, the ambience is calmly elegant. Sitting on the glass-enclosed terrace, listening to soft Spanish music, diners float above trendy Emek Refaim - part of the action, but a world apart. Considerately, enough room has been left between the dark wood tables to make your dinner conversation your own.
La Boca highlights a wine each month – we had the Tishbi Estate Merlot – but just about everything, from beers and single malt to margaritas, is available on the extensive alcohol list. La Boca also offers a business lunch from 11:30 to 17:00 and caters events for up to 140 diners. The menu changes every few months, with the seasons. But the emphasis remains on eclectic quality, varied tastes and colors, as well as homemade ingredients – from the salsas to the sorbets.
La Boca is an international night out at reasonable Israeli prices. Perfect for hosting guests from abroad or an evening with someone as special as this restaurant.

מסעדת לה בוקה הוקמה על ידי השף גיא קימחי, אשר השתלם כשף בחו"ל וחזר לפני כמה שנים לעבוד במסעדות יוקרתיות, כדוגמת מסעדת "רפאל" בתל אביב ומסעדת "קנלה" בירושלים.

מסעדת לה בוקה שוכנת בקומה השנייה של מבנה טמפלרי עתיק ומיוחד, מה שמקנה למסעדה אווירה אינטימית ורומנטית ומאפשר לסועדים להנות משלווה ורוגע אל מול רחוב עמק רפאים הסואן.

החלל הפנימי של המסעדה מאופיין בכסאות עור כבדים, המשרים למקום אווירה יוקרתית, כאשר ברקע תוכלו להנות ממוזיקה לטינית נעימה. אקווריום גדול עם דגי נוי צבעוניים הוצב בחלק שחוצץ בין המסעדה לאזור נטילת הידיים, המוסיף גם הוא לאווירה השלווה והרומנטית.

תפריט המסעדה מתמחה בסגנון פיוז'ן לטיני ומציע מגוון מנות המאפיינות סגנון זה, כגון פאייה אספנייה, פלנצ'ה כבדים ומילנזה (שניצל בקר ארגנטינאי בליווי ביצת עין ופירה בצד). לצד מנות אלו תוכלו להנות ממנות ראשונות מיוחדות ומקינוחים נפלאים.

מסעדת לה בוקה מציעה גם בר חיצוני מרשים, כאשר הסועדים יושבים אל מול הרחוב הירושלמי הומה האדם ונהנים מהאווירה הייחודית לירושלים.

במסעדת לה בוקה קיים חדר פרטי (עד 60 איש) וניתן לערוך אירועים במקום (עד 140 איש).
